This is a short story, based on a prompt given by the magazine The First Line a few months ago, about a girl and her deepest secrets. For me, it's fiction. But I know that there are people out there who have had this type of experience, and it shouldn't go ignored.

The story is told from her point of view as she recalls all that has happened to her. Maybe telling her story will help her, maybe not. This isn't just any other sob story. This is more realistic. You may even find yourself comparing your life to Maddie's while reading this story.
