Death's Reason
Hades had warned him that some deaths shouldn't be stopped but he hadn't listened. At the time, Nico had had too much hope, too much confidence, too many heroic thoughts. When he chose to save Leo Valdez's life, the end of the world began. Before he realized what was happening, the ground beneath his torso was crumbling away, larger and larger pieces were disappearing in the hungry darkness below. Nico did not have time to react. The next thing he knew, he was falling too. OR Three demigods fall into Tartarus after finding the statue of Athena Parthenos. For better or worse, it is not the first time for Nico.
