"Stay away from me. I'm bad news." I backed up a step in the dark alleyway. He only took another step forward.

"Stay away? How can you be bad news when you're the best news that's ever happened to me?"

He took another step forward and I took another back. My back hit the cold cement wall and my heart started beating so loud I'm sure he could hear it. I wasn't sure if it was beating for a good reason or a bad reason.

He smirked and pressed his body against mine.

"We can't be together. I'm so sorry." He frowned and tears threatened to explode from my eyes. I really did want to be with him...I just couldn't.

"Don't be. I'll wait for however long it takes." He stepped back and I felt cold and not because of the cement wall. I wanted him then and there. I was rethinking my decision and remembered my best friends words, 'Live in the moment'. I opened my mouth to speak as he turned away. All that came out was silence. He spoke as his back was turned.

"Just one word Fox, and I'm yours."

Scarlet White was a bad girl. With her black leather jacket, dark black eyes covered by her sunglasses and her cold and sneaky personality. The most startling thing about her appearance though, was her natural bright red hair.

Virgil Locker is the most popular boy at school. He can get any girl he wants but he wants a certain girl with red hair and a sneaky personality. He's wanted the bad girl ever since the beginning of high school and since she saved him from a near fatal accident, he's wanted her even more. He's pretty sure she was his savior by the small tips of red hair he saw as she ran out of the alley way.
