"Yes Grandmama." The younger Marinette wiped her tears with her wrist as the frail woman placed her hand on her stomach and stopped her fight to live, her monitor beeping loudly.

Marinette hummed as she attended to her garden room a few miles from her home that no one knew of. The flowers glistened with fresh water laying on their petals as Marinette looked at the drenched stranger standing with his hands gripped to his hood, the room seeming to light up brightly as soon as he walked in, flowers that had trouble blooming growing beautifully and vines stretching up high, everything seeming to grow faster as time seemed to slow, Marinette seeing nothing but the darkness.

Lately, she had been following Adrien and Lila after hearing the rumour of them being together. She clenched onto her stomach and willed herself not to cry, but instead, her legs gave way and she landed on her knees, more unsettling anger rushing through her body like large waves. This was too much to handle. As tears escaped from her eyes, Marinette didn't notice the small dark butterfly fluttering towards her. Instead, she covered her face and forced herself not to scream, tried to get up from her knees and walk away, pretending she hadn't seen anything. But it wasn't easy, and when she finally looked up to see the Akuma, it was already too late. One of Marinette's rules had always been not letting Hawk Moth control her, but that all changes when Marinette catches her crush kissing a girl, his new girlfriend. Marinette feels shattered by the sight and wasn't strong enough to control her anger. She was tutored by either sick teachers, nurses who homeschooled or her parents sent a teacher they hired to teacher her. she has no friends, seeing as how the only people she knows are nurses or her doctor.
