Sixteen year old Sakurai Minako and her family moved from a small, but urban town in Upstate Newyork, where everyone knows everyone, to the largely populated fashion forward district of Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. In school and in Tokyo in general, Minako sticks out like a sore thumb, and most peers don't bother to get to know her, since she's "Gaijin", but after meeting Nanoha, Ageha, and Uta, Minako learns the true meaning of friendship-- within a circle of Gals, as well as find love.
