The Three Wizards Tournament didn't involve Barty Crouch Junior at all and everything went well, in fact Cedric didn't die in the last challenge. Olivia, the main character, grew up half with Bellatrix and half with Sirius, but only in the present time he could win the battle with Bellatrix and send Olivia to Hogwarts.
