A she-cat walked along the forest floor, her head low and her tongue out as she panted; Out of breath. "I-I can't walk any farther...." She thought as her legs shook and she collapsed to the hard ground. She struggled to keep her eye's open, The grass seemed to stop swaying and the tree's turning a darker color. "W-What's happening?" She whispered gasping for air. "A-Am I dying?...No... Please don't be true.. I'm n-not ready!" Her ears pinned back to her head with what little strength she had left. At that point everything had gone black to her, And her breathing almost was at a stop. "N-No.." Her last breath slipped out from her muzzle, Her body going still and motionless. Silent footsteps started to approach her, A gasp came from the unknown creature. It ran over to her, Quickly picking her up and running off deeper into the forest. Warning: Gore, Sexual stuff (Maybe), Strong words.

Everyone she knew and cared about was murdered in a twisted idea of fun, she was the only survivor. Quickly dumped into a world of supernatural Aurora must find her place despite the fact a possessive werewolf seems to want to tell her what to do. Can she adjust or will she crumble under the pressure? Excerpt: The screams and cries for help faded while silent tears continued to stream down her face. Her hands were slapped over her mouth to muffle any noise that escaped her quivering lips. She wasn't sure how long she was in that pantry but couldn't come out until she was beyond certain that they had left. For a moment, she started to have hope that maybe they wouldn't be able to find her, but a voice spoke up, and fear flooded in once again. "You cleared out the upstairs, too, right?" "Yeah." Another voice responded. There was a slight pause, "Hmm. Then where is that heartbeat coming from, I wonder." His voice had a sickening amusement to it, and her heart rate uncontrollably spiked with the adrenaline pumped through her veins. Was he talking about her? The thought that he could hear her heartbeat was crazy. It just wasn't humanly possible. Footsteps grew closer to the kitchen. Somehow, they had found her. She said one last prayer and goodbye to her life as the pantry opened. "Boo." The man yelled, peering in at her. She was frozen. There was nothing more she could do. She was going to die. "Little Birdy," he stretched out his hand, "come out to play."
