Belle gets adopted by Alexander Hamilton and John Laurens. ( I mean, they're basically both Laurens.) 

This is based off an actual dream I actually had. No joke. I'm just writing what I remember from it, also adding much needed plot. Enjoy!

The characters that aren't Hamilton are my own, generated from a short story I wrote for my ELA class a while back.

His father left at 10, his mom died at 12, and his cousin committed suicide at 17. He was on his own. Never went to school until he started his Sophomore year at King's College. For these two boys. Everything will change once they discover that they are roommates. How will this effect them? Story contains Lams, Mullette, a little Jeffmads, Thomgelica, Meggy, and other ships. Alexander Hamilton has not had an easy life. After his parents died, he bounced from foster home to foster home in Nevis, each one giving up on him and claiming that he was "too difficult to deal with." After being thrown out of his seventh foster home, he gets adopted by an American couple named George and Martha Washington. George and Martha are incredibly kind and willing to do anything for Alex, but Alex finds it difficult to trust them. He worries that they will become angry with him and throw him out the way the rest of his foster parents did. He finds himself growing more and more depressed and angry, and nothing the Washingtons do can make him feel better. Alex finds himself desparate for acceptance, and ends up in a tumultuous friendship with none other than John Laurens, a gay boy rebelling against his homophobic parents. Will the Washingtons give up on Alex, or will Alex finally learn to trust again.

For once in his life, he was happy. Lafayette introduced him to his friend group and ended up joining the "Revolutionary Crew" or that's what they like to call themselves. He has a family that loves him, good grades, good friends. Everything was perfect. Except one thing. He never told them that his name is Alexander, not Alexandra.
