"Tell me to kiss you," he whispered so quiet and husk I wouldn't have heard if he wasn't my main focus of attention.

"No," I protested knowing good and well that I've never wanted anything more.

"Tell me," his other hand slid under his hoodie, his cold finger tips a contrast on my hot body, his lips leaning in to whisper in my ear, "to kiss you."

His eyes pulled back and studied my face. I leaned in close, my lips barely touching his.

"No," the stretch of my lips making a bit more contact with his. I heard him growl.

And then it was as if a gust of wind blew out the candles and everything went cold, including the once occupied space in front of me.

He was gone and I was left alone in the dark.

They say drowning is a peaceful death, one of the best ways to die, if there is even a good way to die at all. They say it's like falling asleep, the calm feeling of water flooding your lungs as the flow of oxygen ceases and you pass from earth to wherever we go after this life.

  I however, beg to differ.

"Are you coming to bed firefly?" He says to me laying his hands over my waist joining me in looking over the city. "I want to look out for a little longer if that is alright?" I mumble hoping that he heard me anyways, I wasn't ready to walk into that bedroom, and I don't think I ever would be. "Of course, I'll be getting ready for bed, come in whenever you are ready." He says confidently and walks away leaving my waist cold something for which I am grateful. Especially when my mind burns with other more dangerous thoughts. "The curse entailed that only the blood that sought yours, can free you of the curse, until then you shall be asleep." Icarus smirked at her words, he knew where this was going as she continued, "Because your blood is-" "Poisonous and repulsive." She nodded. "So, it's unbelievable that she was the one whose blood sought yours, a human, but it did, or perhaps it was your blood that sought hers...," she mulled over it. "But it's wrong, against the natural-" she observed his gaze. Talking about some natural order of the universe was not something that would befit his ears, given that he was the very example of the abomination formed against the natural laws and order of the blood. ~~ No one knew who he was, or where he came from? But he did, and he conquered all the existing realms, hidden and not so hidden from the human world, and built his kingdom upon the ruins of his enemies. Yet, he remained a pariah. Always was. Always will be. He was Icarus. The Monster. The Legend. The Evil. The Pariah. ~~ Everyone knew her to be a scared little kitten. She looked like one too with her snowy white hair, cerulean blue eyes, and a questionable fate. ~~ What was supposed to be a ridiculous adventure, suggested by her equally ridiculous brave friend turned her life into a whirlwind of crazy and bloody, when she stumbled and accidentally awakened the sleeping, ravenous, and absolutely psychotic monster, Icarus. What made her the lucky woman to jostle him out of his centuries of sleep? As a thanks, she was rewarded with the title of being his most beloved SLAVE. Dive into their journey as we unravel their ribbons of fate, and immerse ourselves into their complicated relationship. ~~ This book is a dark fantasy romance novel and Icarus is an original fantasy character that I created. He is not a vampire or a werewolf but something entirely new and interesting.

Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. But little did I know that today was the day that my life would change. It was the day I met her. ---------- A short story. Hey guys! This is my first try writing a pure romance story. I hope you'll like it. :D This story will be rarely updated, since I'm busy with school and stuff. So, sorry in advance. ~Just Perfect EDIT: As of 03/29/14 (arranged in this order: dd/mm/yy), this story has deviated from its original "pure romance," into something worth delving deeper into. Quite interesting. And because of this... "something worth delving deeper into," I have decided to continue the story with a PART TWO! Though that will have to wait until after Exile. Or maybe when I get tired of Exile and hope to continue this again. But either way, there WILL be a part two for those who want more zoophilia. Cheers! 03/31/14 (again, in the dd/mm/yy order): Added a simple cover. Will be using this until I am able to draw a better image resembling both of the girl's forms. August 6, 2014: New cover. I like it.

He tightly grabs me by my waist and he holds me in place while I still continue to get captivated by whatever it is that is happening here. "Tell me what you see." He commands in a voice that sounds so beautifully smooth and pleasant to listen to. My words are choked up and I can't even begin to explain what lies in those eyes of his. Something about his presence is reeling me in, pulling me more soulfully closer to him, something that i am not even sure is possible but I feel this connection to him, this ancient ancient connection, like I had seen him before, like I had known him for a long time, a life time. And the way he's holding me !!! He feels familiar and yet I don't even know who this man is and it would be crazy if I told him that I've seen a Storm in his eyes, a storm that I had never seen anything like it in my life. It was beautiful and enchanting. Everything that he Is at the moment. "Nothing... I didn't see anything." I lie, as my mind fully gets back to me again, and the storm finally dissappears. He let's go of me and i move to stand on my own. He looks at the features all over my face before he furrows his thick brows, in concern while he continues to stand awfully close to me and gosh he smells so good. A huge strike of lightning echoes outside before immediate rain starts pouring outside. I could have sworn that there was a zero percent chance of rainfall tonight, it was clear and there were no clouds insight, the ocean below the balcony starts to get angry too as the waves get aggressive and the moon looks as vibrant as ever right now. We both look outside before we look at each other again. "Are you sure that you saw nothing ?" He asks and I nod my head at him. "Nothing..."

**passage subject to slight change within the book** With his name slipping repeatedly from my lips as we lay tangled in each other's limbs, I ride the wave of a dark yet exhilarating high, throwing my head back to call out his name in one last, loud, unrestrained moan. ------------ A hand suddenly covers my mouth, silencing me, and my eyes snap open, catching the final moments of my muffled cry as I realise where I am; back in the familiar classroom. Faces turn towards me, wide-eyed and shocked, some with surprise, others with something more lecherous. The tingling around my mouth tells me exactly whose hand it is. "Interesting," the source of my desire comments, removing his hand from my mouth and leaning back in his chair behind his desk, phone out. Though he appears indifferent, I can sense the hint of amusement emanating from him. The vivid fantasy evaporates, but the aftereffects linger, leaving me hot and flustered. Still seated behind my desk, I struggle to catch my breath and process what just happened. The confusion doesn't last long before alarm sets in. His quick action saved me from further embarrassment, silencing my unintentional slip before it could get worse. The looks from my classmates confirm it; I moaned his name out loud, in class, without realising it. ------------ Yasmin had everything going for her: a perfect boyfriend, top grades, and a strong faith. Life was unfolding just as she planned, until HE transferred to her school. From the moment Zean arrived, Yasmin felt an unexplainable pull toward him. As tension mounts and secrets come to light, she begins to understand that Zean is no ordinary student. His dark, commanding presence isn't just a cool kid façade, and his arrival at Yasmin's school is for one specific purpose.

I woke to a sudden breeze invading the warmth from the heavy blanket that caressed my skin. Here, alone with my thoughts, the still, calm quiet in the atmosphere is almost painful. I feel suffocated in the clingy, static air. In quiet, still moments like these, I can almost feel Him. I don't know who "Him" is, but I can feel his presence. It's almost calming, especially on fearful, anxiety fueled nights. Usually, he was the strongest when I had a nightmare. The nightmares weren't as common now, but, right after everything happened, I was having them every night. I'd wake up and swear I was drenched in blood, my eyes and lips sticky, my nose filled with the smell of iron and fuel. After everything, that's when Him first came. From there, he just never left. I can usually sense when Him is near. Today, though, his presence is stronger. I can almost feel Him next to me, weighing down the mattress. Some nights, I roll over and imagine how he looks, envision his smile or the sparkle in his eyes. He's never there and I'm left clutching to the thought that he exists, staring into empty air. Tonight, though, I swear I can reach out and touch him. Extending my hand gently, I sweep my hand out into the darkness and meet an inexplicable warmth. A scream rips from my lungs as hands cover my face and two icy blue eyes stare back at me, daring me to speak again. A soft cloth caressed my nose and mouth before I felt myself fade into bed.
