Alec Lightwood had a successful life. He worked damn hard for it. But at the same time he was lonely. Experienced yet inexperienced. He craved love and knew he would never have it. I can't deny it, the atmosphere of the place turned me on...and it turned Alec on... also Magnus, of course... **** English is not my first language. Please don't compare the characters with the characters in Cassandra Claire's books. In my story you will only find references to the TV series. (I don't own any of the characters. Alec is studying to be a lawyer at university at his father's insistence, but he wants to be a vet. He loves animals and reading. His father abuses him. He secretly helps Ragnor, a nearby vet. I would write it differently today. Nevertheless I'll leave it as I wrote it then. A bit clumsy, a bit inexperienced. Because I remember how much I wanted this. This was the point where my mental healing began. That's where I realised that by writing Malec stories, I was not only giving myself, but also the rest of the community, a refuge from the anxieties of everyday life. However, I plan to re- write it again because the story excites me and I wonder how I would do it with my current knowledge. If that happens, the original will still be here.
