Me: Well, actually, I was just looking for a xreader story with an adult Donnie, where the female character is strong and independent, doesn't need to be rescued all the time, and isn't a giggling schoolgirl. April: And you didn't find anything? Me: Don't get me wrong, April! There are so incredibly great fanfics and xreader stories out there, and I ate them all up! But I needed a new kick and I wanted something epic, dramatic that involved the mystical powers of the turtles and their further developments. April: And then you started writing yourself? With the writing, it didn't become a typical xreader story with the "y/n" in it, because that had irritated me. Accidentally opened, the box unleashes a thousand-year-old Demon whose only desire is to feed on the fear of others. Untouched for hundreds of years, the demon left the box and immediately turned his attention to finding the one thing he needed to get in touch with the human world. A host's body. Unfortunately for Donnie, the Demon chooses him for the coming haunting, feeding on the fear and slowly wearing down the young genius. Afraid of what his brothers will think if he complains about his 'nightmares' and 'demon hallucinations', Donnie thinks it best to keep his fears to himself.
