If I'm going to die regardless, might as well die sooner rather than later. I am very touched and honored by all the attention, by all the sweet, beautiful and fun comments I've received over the last month, it's been truly amazing. Never in my life did I ever think I'd be reincarnated. As far as I'm aware, being able to reincarnate means being good in your previous life, and being given a chance to restart your life anew. Although I don't consider myself particularly good, I'm not bad either. I simply existed somewhere in between. Regardless, I never expected to wake up inside a fantasy novel! And not just any novel, but a "dark romance", as my sister would call it. The kind with an obsessive male lead willing to go to any lengths to protect his delicate, soft-spoken heroine. Even if it meant murder. I had read the story before, and yes, it was undeniably cliché. But now, I find myself trapped within said story, cast as the villain, destined to meet my end at the hands of the possessive, and dangerously unhinged male lead. I can't tell if this world despises me or if it's offering me a twisted kind of opportunity. But one thing is for certain: I have to survive. And I need to find a way out.
