Kurt Daven Dela Rosa has a long time romantic feelings for his childhood bestfriend crystal, the feelings grew bigger and bigger even after he flew away to canada. Years later, they met again making him realized how strong his feelings was for her. Just then, he met crystal's highschool friend, katherine and slowly, he fell for her and finally able to stop his unrequited love for his bestfriend.

However, being someone who was always being played and fooled with love. Katherine started losing her trust to love and men. Not being able to restore her trust fully. Katherine closed her heart to anyone trying to enter. So, when kurt confessed and tried to pursue her, kath never hesitated to push him away afraid that he might be just fooling around with her.

Kurt, being so desperate to win her heart and earn her trust didn't move an inch and just take it as a joke whenever kath is rejecting him. Things went on more than a year and kath still can't admit to herself that kurt was finally winning her heart because of the fear of being played again knowing how kurt was head over hills with her bestfriend crystal in the past. She couldn't believe kurt's sincerity and love for her after all he did. She still had doubts.

Guarding herself from totally falling. Kath decided to end kurt's continous courting in a way that kurt won't be able to take it as a joke. She decided to end something that has not even started yet and flew away to france and study.

Years later, she came back only to find out that kurt is already dating someone for 2 years who happened to be a new friend of hers as she came back to the Philippines.
