Shrouded in Darkness
Happening sometime after Camp Jupiter and Half-Blood Hill unite. Percy and Annabeth are finally looking forward to peace and quiet. They've had a hard couple of years. Hard is an understatement. They look forward to kicking back, going to college, collecting a few demigods, and hanging out with their friends. But when Rachel Dare has a fainting fit and reveals a prophecy that shatters the allusion that they'll have even a sort of normal life. Percy is yet again thrown into a quest that is going to take all of his powerful friends to accomplish. But the person he needs most will have to be left behind. Violet didn't ask for this. She never does. It was an accident. But she knows it's not. With the threat of getting kicked out of yet another school Violet has to keep her wits with her as she tries to brave the horrors of high school her senior year. But when another "accident" results in her trashing the auditorium and meeting a dark haired green eyed boy Violet learns that her normal life has never been normal at all. Thrust into a world she doesn't understand with powers she can't control Violet learns some truth about herself and about her parents. Their quest takes them somewhere few have been and come back from and brings together the most powerful group of demigods the two camps have ever seen. But a twist in the middle of summer make things go from heaven on earth to complete destruction. One sunny afternoon, Percy gets summoned to Olympus by his father. Naturally, Annabeth follows. When they arrive, Poseidon tells them that he want the 2 of them to go on a question in California, to retrieve a demigod. They wonder why a satyr can't do it, or why it has to be them, not anyone else. After a bit of convincing, they're on their way to Cali, via plane, credit to Zeus. What they don't know, is that another mysterious young demigod was also assigned to this quest. Hali Peterson. Daughter of Poseidon, born in 1937, dropped in the Lotus Casino at age 14, till her father pulled her out in the middle of the Giant War, in hopes to gain some more power in the underwater battle that raging at his palace. Now it was the next summer, and 15 year old Hali was living the dream in Southern California, occasionally going on different quests for her father. What happens when she meets her brother on one of these quests? I hope you like this!
