Essix has a tough life. That's just how it is in her village. She was forced to work at the local blacksmith's shop at a young age and her older brother works in the village army. One day a tragic accident turns Essix's life upside down and her life would never be the same since.

Now she must be strong and brave so she can live up to her destiny. She must in order to save and protect all she holds dear.
