A long time ago there was a war between humans and monsters. Everyone knows that story, but few know of an alternate reality where that war was only the first of many.

After the monsters were forced underground, their world became a war-zone. Many years after the war, a tyrannical king runs the underground, completely disregarding his subjects and taking everything for himself.

But the Underground is changing and soon, there will be an uprising.

The monsters have broken through the barrier and now wish to live among us. Duska watches from her room as a reporter interviews King Asgore on the TV, wondering how life will change for her. Now she lives with two monsters. How much will her life change? Can she reveal her deepest secret to them? Will she find more about herself? Will she fall in love? Fallen Under is a full-length fan-novel of the game 'Undertale' set in 'Underfell'. This work will not have anything sexually explicit, though there is a (major) gore warning. It is light of heart, but some dark themes including suicide, abuse, and murder are explored. Mt. Ebott is famous for the woods that a child may wander into and never return. In legend, monsters snapped up children from villages, hid in dark corners, and ate the souls of the weak or unprepared. When a young child chooses to flee into the mountain rather than face human capture, they find out that these monsters might not just be characters in old children's stories. Frisk Foster, an eight-year-old child cursed by hereditary blindness, falls into a cavern full of merciless monsters, all of which want nothing more than to steal their soul. Armed with only their sense of justice and kindness, Frisk must travel across the underground to get back home. Yet when faced with the terrible truth of the consequence of their escape, can they truly find the will to complete their mission?
