"What do you mean by that?" "Spend this Christmas with me and you'll see." He smiled. Spend an entire Christmas? With him? Hell yeah! "Sure, I'd love to." His grin widened. "But I can't guarantee that it'll work." I grinned. "Challenge accepted." He smirked. We stayed like that, looking at each other with stupid smiles on our faces when unexpectedly it felt hot. Did Mini open a heater or something? He gazed into my eyes. Suddenly my mouth became dry and I unconsciously licked my lips, which made him look at them. I gulped. His eyes stayed there and I saw his Adam's apple bobbed. He leaned in, making my breath hitch. My heart throbbed so fast that it might explode any second. I looked at his lips; they look so soft, pink, and yummy. He continued leaning his eyes darted between my eyes and lips. When our noses touched, my eyes automatically closed, and I felt his breath on my lips. Is this happening? Are we going to kiss? My dream of marrying him will come true? *~*~*Winterfest 2020*~*~* HIGHEST RANKINGS: #1 in Miracles in December [Words count: 20,000 - 25,000]

Fault Line [Completed]

24 parts Complete

In the first installment of the Fault Line Trilogy, Jane Carter wanted nothing more than for her two sisters to grow up safe. But when her father doesn't return home one day, her entire life is way out of proportions. Her mother began to abuse her, and threatened the safety of Jane's sisters. After years of suffering to keep her sisters healthy, Jane acts out and murders her mother. Now Jane begins her life of being a runaway criminal. She now realizes the consequences of what she has done and is forced to leave her sisters at her aunt's house alone. Though Jane's mother pushed her to the edge of the line and further, the fifteen year old still feels as if it's her fault. Running away from her terrible deed, she learns of betrayal, death, forgiveness, and what it takes to survive in the criminal world. She'll meet the one who'll save her, a foe from the past, and even face the death of herself. With her mother's death haunting her every move, Jane's whole world is falling apart, and she can't do anything except run. As one had said: "The guilty shall rest under pain of death;" will that also mean Jane? Or will she have to suffer the deaths of her loved ones . . . alone? Jane doesn't know who to trust and whether she was pushed past her fault line.
