Liam Payne had virtually no friends. No one wanted to be around him, because like a bird on a wire, everyone that tried to hang out with him just got dragged to the ground by others.
Niall Horan saw things in a detached point of view; he never really knew what it was like to be a normal person. People thought he was strange, and of course no one would want to hang around "the weird kid".
They were both lonely, but that all changed after they met in the most unexpected way..
And Niall has a secret that Liam is determined to uncover, no matter what it takes.

JUST A PIECE OF CAKE
Liam Payne and Niall Horan have a history they don't want anyone to know. But a secret like that would be impossible to keep seeing as they're stuck together, as master and servant, in an enormous manor full of people with pasts and secrets of their own. Maybe Louis and Harry, his best friends, were right about not taking the job in the first place. And while Niall deals with his see-saw feelings for Liam -- and what to cook for dinner! -- something is being plotted against the Paynes and their little empire. With a larger game afoot, Niall is charged into play as a piece of his broken childhood comes back into his life. What will Niall do when he realizes he's so much more than he takes himself to be?
