"Do you want me to walk you home?" I asked. Maybe a bad idea. "No! I,...I can walk home myself,...I don't need a dy-" she paused. "I'm fine. Th-Thanks...." she turned the opposite way and began walking. I smiled lightly, but it faded realizing that was probably the last time I'd actually get something nice from her. But then again.
