The world has ended. The undead hunt down the last dregs of humanity as they try to rebuild. Some try to restore order, others enjoy the chaos and create more themselves. Akashi has a strange ability so sense the undead and no memory of his childhood. He travels with his friends, those he calls family but something is missing in his life. Someone he cared for but lost when he was younger.

Kuroko is enslaved by a tribe who see him as a monster and treat him as one. He longs for freedom and for the crimson haired boy he had grown up with.
