Samara Vandran's father, Saul Vandran, the most famous and important politician in the country of Azad, goes missing without a trace, right after his presidential nomination, along with his running mate, Isham Withers. 
    Samara takes it upon herself to look for her father, with the help of Roland Withers, Isham Withers' son. As she goes, she discovers, that her father had been cheating on her mother from long before she was born and she has a half-sister, Myra Morelli, only a month younger than her.
    Myra Morelli, living in the state of magic, is a magician, who lives with her best friend and is working part-time, trying to find ways to destroy her father, Saul Vandran, who has been working all his life to outlaw the use of magic in the entire world. 
     Could Myra be responsible for the sudden abduction of Saul Vandran and Isham Withers? Or is it someone else?
