"Kara! What a pleasant surprise! I actually needed to talk to you about something." Lena said as she walked around her desk to greet the blonde.
"I already know..." Kara sighed as she adjusted her glasses and shied away from the dark haired woman. Lena drained of color and her heart jumped into her throat.
"Know what exactly..?" She asked cautiously taking small steps away.
"About what happened with the ring. With National City's Green Guardian, swooping in and saving the day." Kara narrowed her eyes at Lena.
"I have no idea what you mean." She laughed awkwardly and returned to her papers. She knew. Kara knew.
"I can't believe you." Kara spat.
Lena Luthor, known as the sister of madman Lex Luthor and CEO of L-Corp has fallen helplessly for Kara Danvers, journalist for CatCo and National City's hero; Supergirl. The Kryptonian hero also has some hidden feelings which she constantly denies. The blue eyed beauty has usually been amazing at hiding her feelings for the woman, but as they have more interviews that turn into coffee dates, that turn into hanging out at each other's homes, to late nights with each other, something happens that forces the Alien to reveal her feelings. This road only becomes more difficult when the ring finds Lena Luthor and chooses her to be a Green Lantern,causing problems left and right.

Translations written: (underlined) Author's Note: This is an AU rewrite of James Cameron's True Lies 1994 Screenplay. The original was full of 90s toxic masculinity and stereotypes, so some of the behavior is out of character, but through all the angst and (quite ridiculous) action, lessons are learned and a happy ending comes together. Edits are ongoing, but the story itself is complete. Other Notes: The movie's lead bad guy was a Syrian extremist, but I wanted to use characters from Season 6, so I went with an ancient cult out of South America instead. Also, I always think of National City as being in California, usually around San Francisco whereas most of this movie was based between DC and the Florida Keys... So, please pretend there's a Florida Keys-esque chain of islands off the coast of Southern California connected by bridges. Okay? Thank you!Complete
