Life in vault 84 isn't easy on any of its occupants. Day in and day out some a vast majority of the population is kept locked within the vault due to the dangers of the outside world. Over the radio there are tales of a land in the Gulf Commonwealth untouched by the polluted swampland that now dominated the Gulf. Its name... Orlando, a technological marvel unlike any other. Whose amusement parks still stand as monuments that light the surrounding landscapes.
Once a year a scouting party is sent out from vault 84 in hopes that contact can be made with the city Orlando and a path found that could safely transport the occupants to this holy land. It is time once again for another scouting party to be sent out and Nikolas has been chosen along with a few others to accompany him. However, between them and Orlando is the Everglades which have reclaimed a majority of Florida.
The events in this story will take place two years after Fallout 4, references to characters throughout the franchise or events which took place in past games may pop up.

Due to Y/N's service history, he was allowed into the vault during the nuclear warhead exchange between America and China, and that's where our story starts. It's been years since the collapse. Countless lives lost, history, and cultures forgotten to the horrors we live today. As it stands now, only a fraction of the settlements survived since the start of the war against the monsters described outside the wall that protects us.
