Destial was a prince with no face, no name, no kingdom, and no purpose. Being thrown away should have been the last blow to his minuscule existence, and would have been if he didn't enjoy it so much.
Trevon is the hunters' son and the man who would be forced into taking care of Destial and showing him the ropes of this new world. After all, it isn't every day that you wake up to a world full of mythical beasts and magical beings.
Destial used to live his life in the darkness but now he has to learn how to survive in the chaotic world, with the help of Trevon and a few new friends. Determined to become a fighter, Destial follows whatever Trevon tell him, clinging to every word and action he guides him with. He will become a hunter too, and not just any hunter but the best one that had every stepped foot on the planet.
Soon after making his way into the hunters guild, Destial breaks the most important rule and is forced into hiding. Hunters send deadly beasts to kill Destial and even go after him themselves, teaching him that there is nowhere for him to hide. Finally they find him and he finds himself wanting to just give up. There's nothing to go back to if he lives. Nobody would miss him if he died. But he can't help but let his inner beast take over his body and fight back, slaughtering the hunters.
"One by one they all fall down." He chanted as he plunged the blade through the hunters chest. The bludgeoning continues until Destial is brought down by his only true friend.
They sat in the pub, drinking their mead silently. His drink tasted funny but he didn't think anything of it until he looked at his friend. His face was completely guilt ridden and it was then that he realized that his friend had been lying to him the entire time. Destial fell to the ground, sleep, nausea and pain creeping through his veins. The sleep takes over and he falls unconscious. "Sleep tight, Princess."
