I can see his figure in the distant streetlight. His hair looks like it's on fire in the dim haze. My foot is killing me, but I walk a little faster, he finally sees me. He jogs to engulf me in a hug. We stay like this for several moments. "I'm always here Grace, don't you ever forget that." He wraps me tighter.
