Jade always depended on herself, she never had any encounters with any boys, she never heard the word "love" or knew the meaning until she met a gentleman at the red carpet dance, that she was dared to go, by her roommate (Eleanor). Jade always, dreamt of becoming a marine biologist, but her dreams were changed as the city she lived in was attacked by a virus. Now, in order to survive she must trust those who she encounters, or kill those who hold a threat against her. She also, often has dreams of the boy she met at the ball, calling out to her telling her that he's still alive, and for her to find him. One day she finds a sick girl all by herself. In order to keep her alive she must fight the unknown, and try to reach a subway that might not even exist. It's a fight against trying to stay alive and trying to find someone you love.
