"Hey Lucy, I'm sory I'm late! I know we planned this dinner for a week, but I had to take care of things.", I yelled while entering the house. "Yeah, sure dad, I'm not sure why are you calling them 'things' but I guess you can say that as well" said Lucy under her breath, but still loud enough for me to hear it. She was all dresed up for our bonding time, sitting next to the dinner table and waiting for me. The black dress matched her black hair and eyes. Her pale face looked at me with brief disappointment. "I know, I'm sorry, I can see you made an effort in doing this. Those Goremians really wanted to rui..." She interrupted before i managed to finish. "Here you go talking about your 'Space battles' again. I know you're a busy guy but i can hear those stories anytime." She got used to me beeing late, this time I at least managed to show up. "When you say space battles it sounds extra nerdy, please don't call it that again. I can't fly a spaceship anyways." She really shouldn't call it 'space battles'. "Dad, you're acting more childish than I am. Go shower, you look like you dyed your hair from blond to ashtray, and there is blood literally dropping from the top of your sword to your head, you might even become a ginger." She almost burst into laugh while looking at me. "You can mock me all you want, when you finish your training and education you will be looking exactly like that!" I hope she won't. "I'll be smart enough to put a helmet on." "So you consider me dumb? My helmet broke in half!" "I don't consider you dumb, I just consider me to be smarter, I can still solve problematic equations faster than you." She was looking at me with a smile on her face, while I was moving towards the bathroom. "Yeah, and who thought you to solve those equations??? The artificial intelligence I built!" I could hear her laughing from the dining room. I love that little teenage girl more than anything, she can mock me all she wants if I get to see her smile. All Rights Reserved
