I stand at the end of the aisle watching the love of my life as she gets closer and closer.
I'm in awe of her beauty. She's always been the most beautiful girl in the room to me, and she always will be. As the wedding march comes to an end, I feel my heart speed up, feeling as if it would jump out of my chest. My hands tremble.
"Does the best man have the rings?" the Priest asks.
I hesitate, knowing that's my queue, knowing that once I step forward, there is no going back. But there's nothing more to do except hand over the rings that would forever bind my best friend and the love of my life.
It turns out the girl I fell in love with also fell in love, just not with me.
