This is the story of Azura Raijin, the Ultimate Guardian before he enteres Hope's Peak Academy and forced to play in the Killing Game. Azura has been hired by a detective agency in Japan to guard and protect the Director's daughter during a case that the whole agency has been working on for days and fear that the culprit is among one of them. On the first day of the job though, he gets trapped with the agency in their underground base and is forced to play a game called The Detective Hunt. Who's the mastermind behind it all? Why are they doing this? Will Azura live to see the light of day once more?
