At the end of the world, Thea Monroe searches New Orleans for smuggler ship and meets the mysterious Captain Sebastian Bane, a teenage pirate with a million dollar vessel that no one knows how it came to be in his possession. 

Sebastian Bane won't take women on his ship, no exceptions. Out of ideas, Thea posses as a boy and sneaks aboard, hoping that she can keep up the charade long enough to get to Cuba. She's soon discovered by Bane, but before he can throw her off, her immunity is revealed and he has no choice but to get her to Cuba to her uncle. 

When people learn of Thea's immunity it quickly becomes a manhunt as the Baneblood races towards Cuba. Thea and Bane start to connect, but as they get closer and closer to Cuba, she starts to wonder if he cares about her or only wants to sell her off to the highest bidder.All Rights Reserved

They drag you around with metal chains, hit you and turn you into a experiment. But I had enough of the tugging, the clawing, the moaning, the crying and pleading for them to stop, but simply feeding them with our pain. They turned me into something, that neither do they know what I am. Their afraid of me, of my reflexes, my strength. I killed a lot of them. They say I have a cold heart, that I don't feel nothing.
