Geoffrey Matthews was never a people person. His life in his father's company mainly revolved around firing and hiring different associates and employees. Like every other rich kid in Manhattan, he was to take on his father's legacy. The only problem is, he is in constant search for a one way ticket out of the palace. As the only child and the rightful heir to the throne, will he able to escape and live the life he always wanted or will he simply obey orders and fill in his father's shoes? Or will it all simply turn to dust when he meets someone he absolutely can't handle?

Samantha Miller was a woman of secrets. However, people always thought of her as an open book. The number one mistake she regrets is having the kind of love that moved too fast and burned too bright that she herself was blinded by it all. She carries this secret so heavy that even she can't lift. Will this secret be her burden or her blessing? Or will she break the moment someone finds out?

Living in a city so eccentric and so unpredictable makes you feel so alive. But, will Geoffrey and Samantha still feel the same way after realizing that it's all an illusion?
