Daniel growled outrageously, "You are mine! Only mine! And just mine!"
Why is he acting like this? Usually, he's calm and peaceful, but now... He looks like a lion attacking it's prey.
"W-What!?" I stutter.
For a brief moment, his eyes turned back into the soft, but hurt, hazel ones. "Can't you see, Eliza? We are mates!"
That hit me like a truck full of metal.
I didn't get to sink in his words properly because I felt his soft, tender lips on mine.
