Young Bella lived a simple life. She worked as an apprentice to Larissa, the best medical doctor in their small town. Too soon though, things start to crumble around her.
An officer appears, nearly begging her to enter the Choosing. Her childhood friend appears, announcing more than just his presence when he sees her again. Just when things start to seem normal again, the Beast attacks; claiming that the Choosing is no longer enough and he wants Bella.
Can she make it out alive? Is there more to the Beast than just a killing machine with no regard for the life of others?
