Heyra is the princess of Aurora, a world where mortals and magic coincide and the land, for the most part, hasn't met war for centuries. But her older brother and the King of Aurora Loganus rules with an iron fist, decrees that all must obey his rule or they will die. Heyra tries to convince her brother to change his ways but when Loganus oversteps the line, she realises that a revolution needs to happen and a new monarch must ascend to the throne.

Teymia is a common pauper living in the slums of Aurora's capital city, Okastia, she hates the life she lives but learns to deal with it. She has no friends solely because of the fact she closes everyone out from her life. She hates only one thing more than she hates the life she lives, royals, because of the fact they look down upon the citizens of Aurora and don't do anything to change their suffering, and when a rebellion begins to form she is one of the first to join.

These two girls have nothing in common except the fact that when they first meet they despise each other, but they constantly find themselves being pulled to one another. Although they claim they hate each other, they begin to find that they feel something towards one another. In a world with an uprising revolution and dangers around every corner, can these two survive long enough to overthrow Loganus and change the fate of Aurora for the better?

Aurora Beauchanan is many things, and apparently being a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is about to be added to that list. With quite a few secrets that are better left untold, and befriending not only Harry, but the Weasley's and their friends as well, her whole life is about to be turned upside down, even more so when she meets the enigmatic Potions Professor, Severus Snape...And as Severus tries to unravel the mysterious personality of the young witch that seems unphased by his ill tempered and harsh disposition, he can't help but be curious about the unabashed and defiant Gryffindor who seems to present more trouble than she is worth. With a spirited character and an attitude to match, Aurora finds that blending in and keeping a low profile don't exactly make for an easy life, especially with the Triwizard Tournament around the corner. When nothing is as it seems, how is she supposed to distinguish between what's real and what isn't? Say....feelings about a certain potions professor that she can't seem to stay away from? As the secrets and mysteries pile up around her while her past threatens to expose itself, Aurora will have to overcome insurmountable odds and decide who she can trust as her life hangs in the balance. After all, sometimes things aren't about doing the right thing, but doing what needs to be done. This story takes place during the events of The Goblet of Fire. Soulmate AU with a bit of a twist, since happy endings don't necessarily last forever. Note: This is a rough draft, and the first round of editing changed the POV from first to third person. It's still being edited, so a second draft should take care of any remaining grammatical errors and the like. Thank you for sticking with this story, and I hope you enjoy it!

Aurora opens her eyes only to feel the agonising pain in her body. That is to be expected when there has been an accident. It's excruciatingly painful. Aurora groans in pain and pulls off the blanket, taking in her surroundings. It is more appropriate for a hospital interior design to look to the mediaeval era. Not shabby, but more on the extravagant side. The nurses' attire, on the other hand, appears odd. Someone said out of nowhere, "Her Grace, please wake up! Call the doctor right away!" Aurora approaches the mirror and looks at the woman with deep red eyes in it. The woman had blonde hair that, while a little messy, flowed perfectly over her shoulder. Her fair complexion lends her an ethereal appearance. Not to mention that her outfits make her look like a noblewoman from a historical series. She pinches herself, only to realise that the blonde woman staring at her is herself. A thought struck her mind, as she utters her first statement in this world, "Fuck me". Medea has finished her work, but she is still unsure how to fix all of the messes. She hasn't been herself in a long time, and it's bothering her. The throne seems so far away, and the weight of the burden grows heavier with each passing day. A letter from the Imperial Palace has arrived, instructing the Duchess to look after the House of Smith's Duchess of Light, Natalie Wilson Smith. As an evil scheme was about to unfold, she smiled wickedly. 'This is my new card.' p/s: I can't find the original owner of the photo of the cover, if you know or you are the owner of the cover.
