We wear the mask that grins and lies,
It hides our cheeks and shades our eyes,
This debt we pay to human guile,
With torn and bleeding hearts we smile,
And mouth with myriad subtleties.
Why should the world be over-wise,
In counting all our tears and sighs,
Nah,let them only see us,while
We wear the mask.
We smile but,oh great Christ,our cries
To thee from tortured souls arise.
We sing,but oh the clay is vile
Beneath out feet,and long the mile;
But let the world dream otherwise,
We wear the mask!

He always assumes I want money. That money can replace my desire for a mother, for a female figure who will guide me through the darkness. All he can provide is money. He assumes that because I use the money, that I'm happy, that I don't spend night hunched over my toilet bowl physically sick to my stomach with the guilt of killing my mother. He assumes that because I have friends, that the smile on my face is genuine. That because I smile and confidently stride out of my room in a bikini, that I love myself and the way I look. He assumes everything about me, because he doesn't know me. I'm his daughter, and with the simple fact, he assumes that by just looking at me he knows my every thought. Does he know of the blood I spill when I have no other method of coping? Does he know of the times I sit and ponder about what it would be like to go through death? Does he know that when he leaves for work, I cry myself to sleep and wish for a mother? Does he know that I could care less about him? I hate him. But he loves me. Does he know, that through all this mess, I just want a mother. Because according to Disney, mother knows best?Complete

We do switch from one mask to another for every person in life. We do say "I am an open book in front of a particular person" but we all know either 1 or the other thing maybe the most minor thing that can be. We do hide from that person. Does that mean we are lying? Does that mean we are not loyal or trustworthy? Does that mean we don't value their love and care? Does that mean we are playing with feelings? As sad as it may be, we live in a world where the rich are getting richer, and the poor live in worse conditions every day. A world where people have to live behind masks and hide who they truly are, just to be accepted into this corrupted society. A world where everyone primarily thinks of himself and not about what he could to help his brother in need? Dive into my vision, be bold enough to read these chapters, and accept that you may have also been committing these mistakes that corrupt our society and together, let us grow into better versions of ourselves and begin to wonder; what if this had happened to me? How would I have reacted? What can I do to change my community? What if I decide to manifest my dreams every day instead of wishing they would happen? Every single part of this will be entirely unique but all interconnected by one subject, "the human nature". Prologue Let me take the liberty to share these observations and experiences of my life, through this book on Human Faces. I intend to portray the hypocritical state of humankind in this society, by introducing some inevitable characters, for reinforcing the message to all. Man has been living for so many centuries with religious bigotry, discriminations and national prejudices, which emerge from the conditioned minds, that lead to all calamities in life, because, if mind supersedes intelligence, there shall be only fanatism of any kind, hence all types of societal classifications shall arise. This world has been hypnotized, through all our upbringing, in a way that, mind becomes the beacon, in this ocean of life, wherein the gifted intelligence, is treated as an alien and thereby man loses the foundation, to view life in its totality. I have attempted to present this conscious or unconscious hyprocrisy of humanity, by using different situations, that people usually encounter in their day to day life.
