Sitka's Quay appears to be like every other coastal tourist town on Highway 101, but lurking below its southern grove of ancient spruce are three sleeping primordial gods. The Keeper, Dayla Fischer, must remain in control of her magical abilities or fall into sickening madness, but lives a relatively quiet life with her husband, Oliver, their cat, and garden gnome roommates.

That is, until the delusional, but charming Jonah Leifson comes to town with a plan to awaken the Three in order to save humanity from itself. Soon, children begin disappearing. With powerful suggestion spells and mind reading abilities, Jonah wins over her neighbors, other sorcerers, meth users, the police, and eventually even her husband. Though no one believes her and she doubts her own sanity, she must stop Jonah-before he wakes the Three and brings about the end of the world.

Milo is a Kaw-Sekhmu who has been dormant for over 150 years, waking up to a world that has changed beyond recognition. When he awakens in a morgue, he realizes that he can no longer stomach blood and has nowhere to turn for support. Milo's decision to turn to the first person he finds for support backfires when he misunderstands the significance of tattoos and turns a vegan, dooming them both. But just when Milo thinks things can't get any worse, his past comes back to haunt him in the form of an Egyptian deity from long ago, powered by a mysterious sect of people wearing black hoods. As Milo struggles to understand their plans and what they mean for the world, he realizes that the stakes are higher than he could have ever imagined. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "For as long as he lived and the many troubles he had. Milo had never once considered suicide a viable option. However, as of late, the wicket idea would simply pass threw his thoughts. He had never been in so much pain. He had never felt so alone. But the better question was. Would it even be possible? If he had really thought about it. If it was something he really wanted. Was there a way to kill him? He thought not, but surely nothing can last forever, not even him." (Disclaimer, I'm not great at spelling or grammar. I cannot get a professional editor, But I did my best.)
