When Raie's family gets a great opportunity to move to France, Raie feels her life is over. She'd never get to see any of her friends ever again- Sapphire, in particular. When Sapphire hears, she is as devastated as Raie is, but as she realizes her brother is leaving for college, she think up a brilliant idea and manages to get Raie and her younger sister to stay and live with them instead of going to France. Raie is overwhelmed and very happy at the thought of getting to live with her best friend, but they both have to switch schools and start fresh at Macquarie High. Of course, along the way, there are speed bumps, or more like mountains, that end up pulling Raie and Sapphire further apart than they've ever been before. A love square forms, twisting and writhing, until Raie and Sapphire's lives are just a jumbled mess. Then the new reality TV show 'Burning Hearts' comes along and complicates things even more. Read about Raie and Sapphire's tale of hate, jealously, lies, love and betrayal. Not your typical cliche romance story.

"I love how this book is turning out!😍 Not cliche at all!" - i_hatecliche "We might live next door to each other," Haley said, "but we don't live in the same world." Hooking her fingers around her backpack straps, she walked away from Jace. She had barely gone a few steps before he was at her side again. "What makes you believe we don't live in the same world?" he asked. "As far as I can tell, we do." "No, we don't. I'm...me and you're Jace Cortez. The dream of every girl. The friend to every guy. The star of the school. Girls. Sports. You're the ultimate player." "It sounds like you have a preconceived notion of who I am." "And it's one that has yet to be proven wrong." From books and a lifetime of sitting on the sidelines, Haley is convinced she knows how the world works, specifically high school. Everyone has a label and a box they fit in. This knowledge, paired with parents who are fighting, a brother leaving soon for college and a best friend who moved away has made her decide to never get involved. It will take being forced to work with her fellow juniors on a project, a boy next door with a infectious smile, a star gazer with an adorable puppy, and an unlikely pair of fangirls to make her see how truly wrong she was about everything. "IT'S NOT CLICHÉ!!!" - Moria987 "This is the reason y I keep coming back to this book...It's simply a breathtaking journey" - mariyamsajorawala "I don't usually comment but this is one of the best books I've read here. I love the fact that it's realistic and focuses on things that really hinder human interaction, perceptions and stereotypes." - yurfavegal "just gets better and better. How are all your characters 3D! Like this writing is so beautiful" - CrazyStarChick "Reading it for the second time, and the book still brings a smile to my face 😆" - grumpymood "She's practically Carter's twin 😂😂" - Guardian_21 #1 Breakingcliches #1 Arrogant #6 in Teen Romance

They say betrayal never comes from your enemies. I used to think that was just something people said to feel better about their broken hearts. Until mine shattered too. The night it happened, everything changed. I lost my best friend. I lost my boyfriend. But worst of all... I lost myself. It's funny how a single moment can split your life into before and after. Before, I was the girl who believed in love, in loyalty, in forever. After, I was the girl standing in the ruins of what used to be her world, gasping for air, screaming into the silence, wondering why. Why me? Why now? Why them? So, I ran. Packed what was left of me and left the pieces behind-what else could I do? I moved cities. Moved in with my cousin. I told myself I needed a break, a fresh start. I told myself I wasn't looking for anyone. I was here to rebuild, quietly, carefully. Just me and the pain that still lived under my skin. But then... I saw him. At the club. Dark suit. Brooding eyes. Hands in his pockets like the world bowed at his feet. He didn't just walk in; he owned the room. The kind of man who didn't need to speak to be heard. I didn't know his name. I didn't know his story. But I felt his eyes on me like a touch that burned. He was power. He was danger. He was everything I told myself to avoid. But as fate would have it, the man who never chased anyone... noticed the broken girl who stopped believing in love. And maybe-just maybe-he'd be the one to help me believe again. This is the story of how I broke... And how he found every shattered piece.
