Oscar is a student at Maseno University while Sweeney is from Moi University. Oscar first cheats on Sweeney, making deals with his friend back in Maseno, Otis. Sweeney sends Betty, her best friend, to take a gift to Oscar. He later turns on her and the two start to date without Sweeney's consent. Betty was already a girlfriend to Peter, Oscar's younger brother. She gets pregnant for him but she aborts it not to make her parents know. She breaks up with Peter. Betty now forces Oscar to give her the first priority or risk losing Sweeney. He later plans to drop Sweeney in favour of Betty. Oscar finds some chats with Dancan and Otis in Sweeney's phone; a sign that she is cheating on him. Betty and Otis advise Oscar to break up with her. Otis starts to date Sweeney, now Oscar's Ex. Oscar breaks up with Sweeney and takes Betty officially as his girlfriend. Peter feels betrayed but accepts after being taken to jail for being indisciplined by his mother.
