Humans are born with a "soulmate" tattoo - matching only with the one you are destined to be with. But not just matching in what it is - it's the same size, shape, and place on the person's body.

James and Lennon are living unmatched in Chicago, IL. James is hopeful that he will meet his match soon, but Lennon could care less if she ever found out who had a match to the dullest tattoo she owned. James' tattoo is an intricate nebula full sleeve so, it would be difficult to miss his match. Lennon's however is an easy to miss geometrical piece on her right calf. It's easy enough to hide and even easier to ignore if she happens to see the colors on someone else. She's content with her new life she's created while living with her best friend, and doesn't see the need to find someone new to live with any time soon.

But all that will soon change when James gets a job offer taking them both to California.
