  Theo's POV:

"So everyone, my daughter is coming to the game tonight. It's her first event at the school so can you just make her feel welcome, please? Just be nice to her?" Coach said dryly.

After he said that there was a light knock on the locker room door followed by a small voice,

  "Dad? Can I come in?"

"Yes sweetie we are over here! Edwards your sister is here right?"

"Yeah, she's in row 2, so coach how old is your daughter? like 10?"

"She's 15" Coach said while rubbing the space between his eyebrows and his temples.

After he had said that a girl walked over to Coach and stood next to him nervously playing with her fingers looking down at the floor.

"Well say Hi to everyone Grace-Rose" Coach said putting his arm around her shoulders. She had perfect porcelain-like skin and the most piercing blue eyes I've ever seen. I stared down at my cleats and felt my throat go dry and my heart stopped for a split second.

"Hi, everybody." She said shyly, and awkwardly waved her hand up at her waist.

"Hey, Grace" Everyone replied waving their hands. I looked up and around there were plenty of other guys on the team with the same reaction as mine. She was beautiful, that was for sure.

"So Gracie these are my star players, Theo Carters and Noah Edwards" He said whilst gesturing to me and Noah.

"Noah's sister is here so you have someone to 'hang' with" Coach said while doing air quote marks with his hands.

"She's in row 2, she's wearing a white hoodie, her name is Lucy." Noah said with a friendly smile across his face.

"Thanks, Noah." She said as she was backing away from her dad towards the door.

"Okay, so that was Grace-Rose and for today's game we really need to-"

Coach started talking about game plays but I couldn't stop thinking about Grace-Rose. Her hair and her eyes and I could imagine her hand in mine and how it would fit perfectly.
