Forgotten Lost Boy

Minhyun was someone you had lived next door to for as long as you could remember but he was an enigma to you. Your mother always retold stories about how you both used to play in the playpark together, pretending you were pirates sailing the seven seas and how you would be running around in circles, arms outstretched, pretending you could fly. The memory was hers alone though for you remembered none of this.

Perhaps if you had been better friends with Minhyun, you would have recollected these moments from the past, but the fact was that you were just neighbours and that is how you both regarded one another. At times, you did wonder what it would be like to know him better, but he was shrouded in mystery. He kept very much to himself, which was not entirely unusual, but more recently, aspects of his behaviour were rather...peculiar and very out of character.

It had all started a week before, when you were closing your bedroom curtains; a rather ordinary thing to do but from the ordinary is where the extraordinary is born...

Hello fellow readers!

This fic is a Minhyun based fic. The idea was prompted by a beautiful Tumblr GIF set and my deep love for J.M.Barrie's 'Peter Pan'. There were a variety of ways in which I toyed with the idea of placing Minhyun in Neverland, but one night, it all just suddenly came to me and I had to write it all out at once.
