Claudia Waters. A 17 year old witch with a tragic event trapped in her past. Her parents being murdered when she was young, she moved in with a family friend, and has been with her ever since. She's had a nice life, even with prior experiences, but when Voldemort rises from what was thought to be his demise, the world Claudia knows crumbles into fear and devastation.

In the new found terror that Voldemorts' return brings, life in Hogwarts changes dramatically and for the worst. Along with other students, Claudia is kidnapped by Death Eaters, taken as the last blood of the Waters family, in an effort to put an end to the strongest line of Aurors known to the Wizarding world.

However Claudia is saved by an unexpected ally, Draco Malfoy, who helps her escape captivity, and she in return helping him in ways she never could have imagined.

But with a war raging, fires burning and blood spilling, friends dying and the world collapsing around them, will they really make it through unscathed?
