Ellie Fontaine was just a young girl trying to make her way as a Jazz singer in 1930's Toronto. Little did she know her whole life would change forever when she meets the owner of the prestigious Royal Majestic hotel, Sebastian Hewlett. Sebastian fell deeply in love with her and declared they would marry, despite what anyone thought. However, one tragic night in an act fueled by alcohol and jealousy their lives would be torn asunder forever.
