She was just a little babe about a year old when her grandma took her with and ran away from the horrid place called St. Thanos mansion where her parents and her twin brother lived. Grandma thought she could save her, away from the sadistic, blood hungry people. Grandma thought she could, not for long.

It was about time 8 years later that they found them out, that she helplessly watched a man who forced her to call him "Father" kill her grandma in the most gruesome way possible, that no child should've seen it. Yet, there it was a boy who was around her age standing...laughing and clapping like as if a funny cartoon is playing on TV. Her "mother"? She was holding her back, smiling. The smile that was so evil to the fact the she tasted the blood that got splattered around as she gleefully watched her husband kill her own mother.

She had been warned about this but this was nothing that she had expected. Tears never seemed to stop coming that day from her closed eyes. Grandma had promised her safety, she taught her about God, she taught her to sing to the angels. But This...this was hell.

33 parts Complete

When the sun goes down, the gravestone statues in Willow Hills Cemetery come to life--including Gretta. As a granite guardian of the dead, it's her job to make sure her charge--the snarky, hot-headed, lesbian spirit Quinn Rivera--crosses over and finds spiritual peace. But that's a little hard to do when Quinn's twin brother Jason blames himself for her premature death. And for Quinn to agree to cross over, he must learn the truth of her accidental passing and the bipolar episodes that led her to shut him out beforehand. But reaching out to the living is against the rules, and to break them would mean facing the most power-hungry and terrifying spirit of all: Death. *** Inspired by 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘈𝘥𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘗𝘪𝘯𝘰𝘤𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘰 (but not a retelling), Willow Hills is a southern gothic story with paranormal/horror elements. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐲'𝐬 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 (𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥) C/W: Gore, some violence, and light to moderate swearing.
