they tormented my soul, they bashed me as a whole, they crushed my hope into pieces, and carved around creases. i had almost gave in, i had made my mind, that i could never shine, that nobody could be mine. but i was wrong, don't need somebody to be mine, and don't want the darkness to fill with un-owned light i will rise, i will break all ties, for they don't matter, for it's me i love the most. #94 in poetry as of 27th april, 2017
