Alex never got anything her way and she had to live with that. Now, moving out to university and making her own decisions - which she wasn't a big fan of. She had to be - what they say - a strong independent women and she knew to herself that she couldn't. Planing, scheduling, prioritising and not going out of her dorm room helped until she met a group of people and actually liked her for her. Not making her change things about herself that she couldn't change. There was specifically one boy who loved every aspect of her for all the right reasons, as he would say.
