In the year 2013, Felicity Gem lived with her older brother Brutus and her pet Beagle Victor in the Catskills. Being only fourteen at the time, Felicity lived an average teenage lifestyle. One day without warning during a hunting trip with Brutus and Victor, a terrible accident befalls on all of them when they all fall into a lake and are frozen solid. Brutus is now following this terrible lifestyle as a member of the terrible Council and wants Felicity to follow in his footsteps. Felicity doesn't know who to trust anymore as a result and attempts to run away. However, Felicity is given new hope when a mysterious stranger saves her during her run as a fugitive. She is lead to a secret organization with people who still believe in democracy, called the United Seekers of Truth. Now fighting for truth in this secret place, Felicity must face many demons in here life, including trusting her brother Brutus.
