Gee Way is an androgynous, junior in highschool. Life for him is as average as it gets. But, oh, how above average it gets when rebel Frank Iero starts going to school. He's everything Gee isn't. He smokes pot, ditches class, drinks illegally. Nothing Gee would even think of doing. Frank hasn't even been attending school for more than a day and Gee is already head over heels for the punk. And though Frank flirts with Gee all the time, it's almost like he would rather be with anyone else. Frank fools around with boys and girls alike, making Gee feel even more lost. But it only gets worse as opportunities open up for Gee, and life comes down on Frank.

He's homeschooled as well, which means he only ever leaves to get groceries. For how little he leaves the house, and how closed off he is, it's quite a wonder how he met Frank. Frank is an extrovert and he kind of lacks boundaries when it comes to making friends. He's curious and speaks his mind constantly, which sometimes gets him into trouble. It must be good for something though, because not many people bother to figure out Gerard. Gerard way and Frank Iero have always passed each other in the hallway but never spoke a word to one another. They are both alike in many ways. Both loners who feel like they don't quite belong.
