Red Queen Fan Fic
I scream and when I hit the ground, I get dizzy and see everything doubled.
I here a muffled voice. My father. Something....you okay....hurt....can you hear me...?
I put the butt of my hands on my head trying to refocus my vision. When I do I look up. And in that very moment I look up, I hear a crack. Not a small one; a deafening one. More wood is going to fall.
On me. I don't have time or space to run or move out the way. It starts to fall and as soon as I put my hands over my head to shield myself, I feel it.
Not the wood, but the electric shock. The one with no pain, pure energy. Only this time, it consumes me.
All of me. My eyes are closed but I see purple. Ultraviolet purple. I feel like I put all the energy I've had in my life in this one moment. Then as soon as it came, it goes.
When nothing happens, my hands still over my head, I find the courage to look up and around me. And what I see is not what I expect.

My mind scrambling to process what had happened as I felt rubble falling around me, surrounding me in darkness. I reached up, my arm stinging as I hit the hard wood table over me, which was keeping the rubble off me, miraculously. I wiped my forehead, sweat, and probably blood dripping down my arm and side of head as I reached for a nearby rock, trying to push on it, hoping that it might help me out of this disaster. "Mom? Betty?" I called, hoping for a response, only to get none. I didn't even get the slightest whimper from any of them. What the heck happened? "Mom?! Betty?!" I screamed this time, trying to push myself up onto my back, my leg killing me so much that I had to give up. I laid back down on the ground, placing my hand on the bottom of the table; anger, fear, confusion getting the best of me. I screamed as I banged my fists on the wood table. "MOM? BETTY?" Nothing. I was ready to bang on the wood again, but I flinched back when I heard the sound of moving rubble. Whoever it is was almost near where I was, and ... moving quickly. 10 parts Complete
You wake up by a huge oak tree, not knowing who you are or how you got there. You rub your tired eyes and stand up with lots of effort. You look around the streets of Magnolia and decide to walk forward, not knowing exactly where you were going. The wind is rather strong and you soon hear thunder. The water starts lightly drizzling as you pick up the pace. You walk calmly, your (H/C) hair swaying close behind you. You keep on walking for a couple of minutes, when you notice a black hooded figure following close behind you. You get a sick and uneasy feeling as you start running as fast as you can, without daring to look back and see if the mysterious black figure was following you. You ran and occasionally stepped on a couple of water puddles getting yourself even more wet. You run, your hair flowing crazily behind you as your (E/C) eyes reflect the bright full moon. Your breathing gets heavier with every step you take. You see something up ahead with a somewhat blurry vision. 'Fairy Tail' it read in dark red florescent lighting. You shuddered from the cold as you heard another thunder clap. From outside, you could hear lively chatter and you noticed the lights were on. That was good, at least someone might help me in here. You're heart beat sped up immensely as you took a peek behind you to see the mysterious hooded figure. You kept on breathing heavily and started to panic as you tried to quickly open the doors to Fairy Tail. With great effort, you were able to open the doors. The place went silent as you looked around and heard another thunder clap. You took one more look around frighteningly and fainted, slowly falling right on the threshold of FairyTail. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the fairy tail characters, I only own my plot. Btw, this is my first fanfic. Sorry, if it isn't fantastic, I didn't really know that I would ever get this many reads (thank you!!). © All rights reserved. XMusicz, 2017. (Unedited)

I shuddered. It had never been so dark, nor so quiet before. There was always the light of the moon to guide me. The sound of the wind against the trees. I shook the thought from my mind and continued further into the wood. Then I saw it. A white light spread across the ground in front of me. The clouds had parted from where they were, revealing the moon at its fullest. I stared in awe. It had never been so bright. The ambiance began to come back. The wind began to dance with the trees. I closed my eyes. The scent of oak filled my nose and exhaled through my mouth. The aroma filled me with exhilaration. It filled me with something I couldn't explain. I felt something I hadn't felt in a long time. Although it was something I wasn't used to feeling, I craved it deeply. I felt happy. I felt as if nothing else mattered than this moment. I opened my eyes. Everything seemed clearer. I could see the particles of dust flying in the beam of light that shone around me. I wanted to stay here for longer. I wanted this moment to last forever. Until I saw the wolf. It was hidden among the fold of trees behind me. It stared at me in aggravation. It's brows furrowed in my direction. It's face, livid with anger, revealed a set of unpleasant and sharp teeth. It began to move slightly forward. The wolf bounded towards me. It happened so quickly I had no time to react. It's limbs outstretched. It's teeth bared. My body, paralyzed from fear, refused to move. My lip quivered, urged to call for help, but no help would come. I was too deep into the woods. No one would hear my screams. The thought was soon interrupted by the wolf's teeth digging into my side.

I woke to a sudden breeze invading the warmth from the heavy blanket that caressed my skin. Here, alone with my thoughts, the still, calm quiet in the atmosphere is almost painful. I feel suffocated in the clingy, static air. In quiet, still moments like these, I can almost feel Him. I don't know who "Him" is, but I can feel his presence. It's almost calming, especially on fearful, anxiety fueled nights. Usually, he was the strongest when I had a nightmare. The nightmares weren't as common now, but, right after everything happened, I was having them every night. I'd wake up and swear I was drenched in blood, my eyes and lips sticky, my nose filled with the smell of iron and fuel. After everything, that's when Him first came. From there, he just never left. I can usually sense when Him is near. Today, though, his presence is stronger. I can almost feel Him next to me, weighing down the mattress. Some nights, I roll over and imagine how he looks, envision his smile or the sparkle in his eyes. He's never there and I'm left clutching to the thought that he exists, staring into empty air. Tonight, though, I swear I can reach out and touch him. Extending my hand gently, I sweep my hand out into the darkness and meet an inexplicable warmth. A scream rips from my lungs as hands cover my face and two icy blue eyes stare back at me, daring me to speak again. A soft cloth caressed my nose and mouth before I felt myself fade into bed.
