Once a mermaid, now a human.
Karina Anderson and her family moves back to their previous house back in California. After three long years, she's excited to see her boyfriend, Theo Moore, once more. The loving couple was known as the best in school. Nothing could ever destroy what they had. At least Kari thought so. But what happens when something unexpected and startling happens? Will Kari be able to keep up the pace with this new life? Or will she be forever trapped in the fearful memories?

"Hey" I muttered.
"Hi."
"Do I know you by chance?"
"Are you trying to hook up wi-"
"No!" I quickly said in embarrassment. I could feel my cheeks getting hot.
He flashed a smiled. And oh was it glamorous.
I let a few seconds sink in with the silence. I figeted, awkwardly.
"Um.."
"Yes?" He replied with an amused look in his eyes.
"You really don't recognize me?"
"If I knew you I would. I mean, who could forget such a cute, pretty, gorgeous.. face like yours?"

Before we know it, humans and mer will be at war. Again. What if it spreads to all mythical creatures? But how can Luke and Heidi stop this before it's to late? Thank you. Started; 01/30/2023 Finished; 02/06/2023 Plot; Princess Lucia is a seventeen year old girl who lived with her mother and father. The king and queen. She has a twin brother named Lucas. Little that she doesn't know, her brother try to get rid of her due to envy. He was younger than her. Lucia was being appointed to become the next queen for the kingdom. The royal guards ambushed the princess and took her away to the witch's house near the ocean. The two white witches agreed to help the princess for her desperate plea to return to her home castle. And stop her brother for his act of disposing his only twin sibling. The two white witches told her to take a swim in the sea before leaving. Before Lucia tries to get out of the water, she was suddenly transformed into a mermaid by the two white witches. There are two ways to break the spell before her time is up by the next month. If Lucia gets a kiss by the merman, she'll be a mermaid for all eternity. If the princess gets a kiss from the prince on land, she will be human again. If not, she will be lost in the world of water. Will Lucia see her family again as a mermaid? How is she going to reach them if she can't swim as a mermaid? Princess Lucia was new to be a mermaid. She has a long way to see her pink tail fin works in the ocean floor.Complete

After choosing the latter in a risky gamble, both her and the boy might be in for more than they bargained for when they discover the city is under attack. Will they be able to save it and the people in it in time, or will following the boy be a big mistake? "Well, what do we have 'ere?" A hoarse voice stated above me, making my eyes glaze upward in the direction of the culprit, only to freeze at the icy, crystallized irises of the owner. There, above me, was the man I saved, looking insanely at me with crazed eyes and a mocking tone. His hair was stuck on his forehead and the smudged eyeliner created a trace of dark lining on his face, making him look hauntingly. The man gazed at my form in amazement and wonder before they captured mine again, sending an icy cold sensation coursing through my vein, making me shiver. He was frightening and breathtaking at the same time. "A mermaid, aye?" he questioned as his gaze trailed down the length of my body. Grabbing my arms with one hand, he caressed my face gently, his thumb grazing my parted lips before they went below my hair twirling a single piece. I struggled from underneath him when he let the hair graze my breast underneath my blackened hair. Grinning at me madly, my eyes narrowed distastefully as his hand touched my crimson scales, stroking the tail almost lovingly. "Is this how you repay your saviour, pirate?"Complete

Felicity O'Connor is not your typical seventeen year old teenager in the small city of Lakewood she's half mermaid, but doesn't know it yet. A secret her father has kept hidden from her since she was born. One day Felicity stumbles upon a magical puddle and takes the plunge. Discovering Atlantis, having a tail instead of legs and realizing that merpeople are not the myths she thought they were are the least of her troubles. Merpeople both fear and hate humans and if Felicity's human identity is found out she is to be executed. So having a crush on the king's right hand man, Jeremy Sea and being friends with the prince of Atlantis is probably not the best way to go about being unnoticed. So why can't Felicity grasp the enormity of her situation. Maybe meeting the prince, going on a dragon ride, becoming a dolphin rider, fighting sharks and swordfish, killing the Kraken and owning the most powerful sword in the sea has her a little distracted. Trying to live two separate lives is no easy feat while going back from Lakewood to Atlantis her web of lies is growing and it will only be a matter of time before she gets caught as she struggles to decide what life she wants to live. Risk losing the only family she's ever known on land for a life of adventure and magic in the sea is something no seventeen year old should have to decide.Complete

The girl, who found herself in the wrong place at the wrong time, experienced a stroke of misfortune. Following this incident, she was drawn into a world completely foreign to her, where she struggled to adapt to her new life. I was face to face with death. I knew it. I hadn't even realized when his hand had grasped mine. Fear overshadowed all my senses. But after what felt like an eternity, I finally felt my wrist. He was gripping it so tightly that blood could no longer flow to my hand. As I lowered my head to look at the hand clutching my wrist, he used his other hand to grab my chin, turning my face toward his. Then, he pressed his lips to mine. I stood frozen for a moment. Then, I let myself go. For a fleeting instant, he seemed to let himself go too. And then, just like that, he was gone. In an instant, he had vanished. The hand gripping my wrist, the lips pressing against mine-gone. And I was left standing there, completely stunned. It felt as though I had forgotten my own name. I started to tremble. My legs gave out beneath me, and I collapsed to the ground. Sitting there, shaking in shock, I finally understood what he was.
